    The Department of Medicine extends congratulations to Dr. Mark Ormiston on his successful application to the FHS/KGH Internal Grant Competition!

    Dr. John Fisher and Dr. Roger Deeley recently announced that Dr. Ormiston was successful in the competition and was the recepient of a $25,000 grant through the Spear-Start funds in the Faculty of Health Sciences/Kington General Hospital Internal Grant Competition.  The Spear-Start funds comprises William M Spear Endowment Fund in Pulmonary Research and the Richard K. Start Memorial Fund for Respitatory Diseases.

    The application for the project is on "Interleukin-15 signaling and pulmonary hypertension in mice bearing an endothelial-specific deletion of bmpr2".
