Congratulations to Dr. Amer Johri, Associate Professor, Queen's Universtiy and Heart and Stroke Foundation Clinical Scientist on the recent announcement of being selected for a scientist exchange program funded by the Ontario Ministry of Innovation and Research and the government of China.
Dr. Johri, who is also the Editor of POCUS Journal will be working at Sun Yat-Sen University Guangzhou Higher Education Mega Centre for two weeks in August.
A very exciting opportunity for Dr. Johri to be hosted by the top university in southern China who see over 10 million patients a year. Sun Yat-Sen University currently has exchange programs with John Hopkins and Mayo. One of Dr. Johri's goal while in China is to see how a more formalize collaboration can be established between our institutions, and leading to more exchange opportunities for our trainees.
