Dr. Amer Johri awarded John R. Evans Leaders Fund Award "The Precision Imaging Program: Advanced Computational Methods for Quantification of Cardiovascular Disease"Published Wed Mar 29th 2017
In recognition of the importance of research and innovation the government of Canada provided over $51 million in funding towards research excellence and innovation.
The Honourable Kirsty Duncan, Minister of Science announced the funding which will be dispersed among 223 projects at 39 universities across Canada. The funding is provided through the Canada Foundation for Innovation's John R. Evans Leaders Fund. This fund helps universities attract and retain the world's best researchers, providing them access to the tools required to pursue innovative world-class research.
The Department is pleased to announce Dr. Johri received $120,000 for his project "The Precision Imaging Program: Advanced Computational Methods for Quantification of Cardiovascular Disease".
