Dr. Wendy Wobeser is an Infectious Disease specialist with special interest in tuberculosis, HIV and Hepatitis C (HCV). Dr. Wobeser's tuberculosis expertise spans immigration and prison screening. She works with Sioux Lookout First Nation Health Authority and First Nation Inuit Health on matters pertaining to BCG vaccination and TB control strategies. In the field of HIV, Dr. Wobeser supports a clinical and epidemologic research program, acting as a Queen's site investigator to the Ontario HIV Treatment Network and the CIHR Clinical Trials Network. Dr. Wobeser collaborates with Kingston Street Health to improve access to novel therapies for HCV for marginalized populations within our jurisdiction.
