Dr. Crinion graduated from University of Dundee School of Medicine, Scotland, in 2003 and completed her specialty training in Internal, Respiratory and Sleep Medicine in Scotland and Ireland. Her PhD thesis, titled, “Obstructive Sleep Apnea and Hypertension” was awarded by University College Dublin in 2017. She returned to her native country of Canada in 2018 with her husband and 3 sons, to take up a position as Assistant Professor at Queen’s University. Her clinical practice focuses on the assessment and treatment of sleep disorders, as well as general respiratory and internal medicine. Her main area of research interest is the mechanistic links between obstructive sleep apnea and cardiovascular disease.
