Dr. Appireddy has finished his Neurology residency at NIMHANS, India and Stroke fellowship at the University of Calgary. He also holds an M.Sc in Clinical Epidemiology from London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, UK. Dr. Appireddy is cross-appointed to the Department of Public Health Sciences.
His research interests include
- Implementation of virtual health solutions for ambulatory care and assessing the impact of virtual health care solutions on patient experience, health outcomes, and healthcare costs.
- Understanding the impact of rurality and other social determinants of health on stroke outcomes.
