Leadership Opportunities

Although there are many opportunities in physician leadership training available, we have identified just a few of the courses and resources below. 

If anyone has taken any of the courses listed and can provide feedback on them to please do so. Additionally, if you are aware of any other courses that you would recommend, please send us the details so that we can add it to the list.

Department of Medicine (DOM) faculty members interested in exploring any of these or any other leadership opportunities are encouraged to submit the request to Anita Ng to learn more about funding.

Queen’s Organizational Development and Learning (ODL) Dept in HR offers some leadership courses.  Structured for Queen’s employees in management roles, this may be more pertinent to staff management. However, if faculty are interested, please review the link below. 

Alternately, we could request that the HR Department present a series of 1 hour sessions on leadership, conflict resolution, emotional intelligence, understanding difficult personalities for those wishing to attend.
