Dr. Neira Vidal was awarded his MD from Universidad de La Frontera in Temuco, Chile in 2008. He completed residency training in Internal Medicine at Universidad de La Frontera in 2012 and Cardiology fellowship training at Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile in 2014. Dr. Neira Vidal then completed an Electrophysiology Fellowship at Universidad de La Frontera in 2017 and an Adult Cardiac Echocardiography Fellowship at Queen's University in 2020. He was an Assistant Professor in the Internal Medicine Department at the Universidad de La Frontera and Head of the Electrophysiology Service and Cardiac Intensive Care Unit at Dr. Hernan Henriquez Aravena's Hospital in Temuco, Chile, prior to joining the Department of Medicine.
