Dr. Andres Enriquez is Assistant Professor of Medicine at Queen’s University since 2018. He completed his Doctorate in Medicine from the Universidad de Concepcion (Concepcion, Chile) in 2005 and went on to continue training in Internal Medicine and Cardiology at the Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile (Santiago, Chile). Following this, he completed sequential fellowships of Cardiac Electrophysiology at Queen’s University (Kingston, Canada) and the University of Pennsylvania (Philadelphia, USA), where he specialized in ablation of complex cardiac arrhythmias. His research interests include invasive electrophysiology, advanced ablation techniques, intracardiac echocardiography and implantable cardiac devices. He has published more than 100 papers in peer-reviewed journals, including Circulation, JACC Clinical Electrophysiology, Heart Rhythm Journal and Journal of Cardiovascular Electrophysiology.
