Dr. Baharnoori is an Assistant Professor in Division of Neurology and a specialist in multiple sclerosis and related disorders. She completed her medical training in Tehran University of Medical Sciences. She moved to Canada shortly after graduation and obtained a Masters Degree in Neuroscience from University of Montreal and a PhD degree in Neuroimmunology at McGill University. She then completed her neurology residency in University of Toronto in 2015 followed by two years fellowship in multiple sclerosis in Harvard Medical School. Her research interests are MS pharmacotherapy and risk mitigation strategies, biomarkers of treatment response, neurodegeneration and mechanisms of repair in MS and Neuromyelitis Optica.
