Dr. Mike Weersink is originally from rural Southwestern Ontario. He graduated from Queen’s School of Medicine in 2018, and  completed his family medicine residency through UBC in 2020, training on Northern Vancouver Island in Campbell River, BC. Dr. Weersink returned to Kingston in May 2021 and has been working both as a hospitalist and in community family practice. He is very excited to expand the role of family physicians in inpatient care throughout KHSC.
