Research

Dr. Asai has recently completed a PhD in Experimental Medicine along with her clinical workload, furthering her previous MSc work on the filaggrin gene and peanut allergy in collaboration with members of the AllerGen NCE.  She played a prominent role in the Canadian acne clinical practice guidelines and is the chair of the rosacea clinical practice guidelines. Her research focuses on epidemiology, genetics, and allergy.  She is currently mentoring undergraduate medical students with case reports and research projects.
