Dr. Paul Malik is an Interventional Cardiologist and the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Director of Kingston Health Sciences Centre. He is also the Hospital Program Director of Cardiology. Dr. Malik is a founding member of the transcatheter aortic valve structural heart program (TAVI). Dr. Malik trained at the University of Calgary. He has a strong interest in teaching and is presently the associate program director for the Adult Cardiology Fellowship Program. He is also the former director of the Queen’s University Medical School cardiovascular course where he led the curricular change for the course transition to modern styles of learning and assessment by fostering enhanced student engagement.
Dr. Malik’s clinical interests include coronary and structural heart interventions. He also has a strong interest in medical teaching.
