Available Sorting Chip sizes 70µm, 100µm, 130µm.
70µm
- Can sort 4 × 10^7 total cells per hour, collection volume: ~10^6 cells in 1mL
- Requires higher pressure (60 psi), not ideal for larger or fragile cells
100µm-130µm
- Can sort 2 × 10^7 cells/hour, collection volume is ~2.5 × 10^5 cells in 1 mL
- Best for large or delicate cells because it uses lower pressure (20psi)
- Examples include stem cells, fibroblasts, neurons, and larger cancer cells
