Dr. Moran has a Master's in Clinical Epidemiology and a PhD in Epidemiology.
He created the Interstitial Lung Diseases (ILD) clinic at Hotel Dieu Hospital in 2013, the ILD Fellowship Program in 2014 and is currently the Director of the ILD Program.
He initiated the Transbronchial Lung Cryobiopsy program at Kingston General Hospital in 2019.
Dr. Moran also has a General Respirology Clinic and participates in the Tuberculosis Clinic with the Infectious Disease Specialists.
He teaches in several undergraduate courses at the School of Medicine at Queen's University and teaches in the Internal Medicine and the Respirology Training programs.
His Research interest is in Interstitial Lung Diseases; he created an ILD database that has longitudinal clinical, physiologic, radiologic and bronchoscopic data on over 700 ILD patients so far (2021).
