Dr. Wing received her medical degree in Medicine in 2006 and completed her Neurology residency in 2011 at the Federal University of the State of Rio de Janeiro. In 2012, she did a one-year fellowship at Centre de Esclerosi Multiple de Catalunya, in Barcelona, Spain. She returned to Brazil, where she completed a Master's degree followed by her Ph.D. in Neuroscience. In 2016, she moved to Canada. First to London, Ontario, to complete a fellowship at Western University for two years, followed by another year of fellowship at the University of Toronto. In 2020, she started a position as Assistant Professor at the Division of Neurology at Queen's University. Her primary focus is neuroimmunology, Multiple Sclerosis and other demyelinating diseases of the Central Nervous System. She is also interested in Medical Education and improving patient-centred care.
