Dr. Liak obtained her medical degree from Queen’s University in 2012. She completed her Internal Medicine residency in 2015, and Respiratory Medicine fellowship in 2017, both at Queen’s University, followed by a fellowship in Sleep Medicine at Western University in London, Ontario. She was welcomed on faculty as an Assistant Professor in the summer of 2019.
Dr. Liak’s academic interests are in medical education. She is the Program Director for the Core Respiratory Medicine Training Program as well as the Sleep Medicine Fellowship Director. She is also the Medical Director of the Kingston Health Sciences Sleep Laboratory. Her clinical practice focuses on sleep medicine and general respirology.
