Dr. Amelia Wilkinson is an Assistant Professor in the Division of General Internal Medicine at Queen’s University. She earned her undergraduate degree in Life Sciences from Queen’s University. This was followed by medical school at the University of Ottawa. She completed her Internal Medicine residency and subspecialty training in General Internal Medicine at Queen’s University prior to joining the division in 2022. She also completed her Master of Science in Healthcare Quality from Queen’s University in 2022.
Dr. Wilkinson’s clinical practice involves attending on the medical clinical teaching units, General Internal Medicine (GIM) inpatient consult service, and outpatient care in GIM, bariatric medicine, and perioperative medicine.
Dr. Wilkinson’s research interests include quality improvement and patient safety medical education, and improving care of geriatric patients at Kingston Health Sciences Centre, particularly osteoporosis therapy.
