Dr. Arezou Shahmoradi is a nephrologist in the Division of Nephrology, Department of Medicine, with advanced training in transplant nephrology. She completed her nephrology training at Queen’s University, followed by advanced training in transplant nephrology at the University of Toronto.
Her clinical practice encompasses a broad range of kidney disease, including chronic kidney disease, dialysis, and complex medical nephrology, alongside the care of kidney transplant recipients. Her expertise includes immunologic risk assessment and post-transplant management, with a growing interest in transplant genetics and precision-based approaches to patient care.
Dr. Shahmoradi is committed to delivering patient-centered, evidence-based care and is actively involved in quality improvement and system-level initiatives aimed at optimizing care delivery and improving patient outcomes.
An engaged educator, she is dedicated to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment while promoting patient advocacy and multidisciplinary collaboration. She provides care to patients across Kingston and Brockville.
