Jacob Abdaem is a fellow in the Adult Echocardiography program. Originally from Montreal, he completed medical school and internal medicine residency at McGill University before moving to Alberta to train in cardiology at the University of Calgary, where he served as chief resident. His interests include ischemic heart disease, cardiomyopathies, medical education, and cardiovascular imaging research. Outside of medicine, Jacob enjoys a competitive soccer game, studying history, and sipping coffee with relatives and friends over good conversation.
