Dr. Marjorie Bagnas obtained her undergraduate degree in Physical Therapy as well as her Medical Degree from the De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute, Philippines. She completed her neurology residency and electrodiagnostic medicine fellowship at the University of the Philippines - Philippine General Hospital. She then pursued and completed the Citywide Neuromuscular Fellowship at the University of Toronto which gave her the opportunity to work with multiple neuromuscular specialists at hospitals across Toronto including Sunnybrook Health Sciences Center, St. Michael's Hospital, Toronto General Hospital, and The Hospital For Sick Children.
Dr. Bagnas is passionate about medical education. She is an advocate of a nurturing learning environment that seeks to inspire students and trainees to appreciate the field of neurology and neuromuscular medicine. She is also interested in building collaborations with clinicians in resource-limited settings to help improve the care of patients with neurologic disorders globally.
