Dr. Mireya Citlalli Perez-Guzman is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine at Queen’s University. She completed her subspecialty training in Endocrinology and Metabolism at the Universidad Autónoma de México. She went on to pursue a postdoctoral research fellowship at Emory University in Atlanta, focusing on inpatient diabetes technologies. Most recently, she completed a Clinical Fellowship in Endocrine Oncology at the University of Toronto.
Dr. Perez-Guzman’s clinical and research interests include diabetes technology, pituitary gland disorders, thyroid cancer, neuroendocrine tumors, and adrenal tumors. Her work bridges advanced diabetes care with endocrine oncology, aiming to improve inpatient glycemic management and personalized endocrine treatment.
