Dr. Montague is a Clinician-Educator, and Assistant Professor within the Department of Medicine, Division of General Internal Medicine. He has a Bachelor's of Science in Life Sciences, and a Master's of Science in Neuroscience. He then graduated medical school at the University of Manitoba in 2013. Subsequently he completed both his core Internal Medicine residency and General Internal Medicine sub-specialty training at Queen's University. He joined the Division of General Internal Medicine at Queen's University in 2018. Dr. Montague became the Program Director for the General Internal Medicine Residency Training Program July 1, 2022.

Dr. Montague's inpatient clinical practice primarily involves clinical teaching units and general internal medicine consults. In the ambulatory setting his practice includes general internal medicine consults, and perioperative care.

Dr. Montague's academic interests include Point of Care Ultrasound (POCUS) and Medical Education. He is convinced that POCUS will soon become as much a part of the bedside assessment as the stethoscope, and is passionately teaching Internists about this powerful tool.
