Dr. Yasmeen Mann joined the Department of Medicine as an Assistant Professor in the Division of Infectious Diseases in September 2025. She recently completed her Internal Medicine residency followed by an Infectious Diseases fellowship at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan.
Dr. Mann’s clinical interests include infections in marginalized populations, particularly among people experiencing unsheltered homelessness and refugees. She has been involved with Street Medicine for several years, working to provide healthcare in non-traditional settings, and recently helped launch point-of-care Hepatitis C testing and treatment on the streets of Detroit. Dr. Mann also serves as an Infectious Diseases consultant for low and middle-income countries, where she has led workshops and training in antimicrobial and diagnostic stewardship.
