Dr. Tabitha Kung is originally from Toronto and obtained her Bachelor of Science at McMaster University and her MD training at the University of Toronto. She is a Queen’s alumna, completing her internal medicine training here, followed by Rheumatology fellowship at the University of Toronto. There she also completed a Master’s in Public Health with a focus in Genetic Epidemiology and was a fellow of the CIHR STAGE (Strategic Training for Advanced Genetic Epidemiology) Program, following which she pursued further research fellowship training in very early inflammatory arthritis and Pre-Clinical Rheumatoid Arthritis. She has also completed CRUS (Canadian Rheumatology Ultrasound Society) training for point-of-care musculoskeletal ultrasound in Rheumatology. Her interests include early inflammatory arthritis, especially early detection and management of rheumatoid arthritis, and medical education.
