The TIME Core Molecular Biology Laboratory provides comprehensive molecular analysis services to support translational and discovery-based research across a wide range of disciplines.

This laboratory lead is currently vacant, but other members of the TIME team can help! Reach out to time@queensu.ca, The laboratory supports nucleic acid extraction and quantification, genomic and transcriptomic workflows, multiplexed analysis, biobanking and next-generation sequencing. Researchers can access an end-to-end molecular biology pipeline, from sample preparation and quality control through sequencing and data generation.

TIME Core offers Oxford Nanopore sequencing technologies, including the MinION, GridION and PromethION platforms. These systems provide flexible, real-time long-read sequencing for a range of genomic and transcriptomic applications.
