The TIME Core Molecular Biology Laboratory provides comprehensive molecular analysis services to support translational and discovery-based research across a wide range of disciplines.

Led by Dr. Doug Quilty, the laboratory supports nucleic acid extraction and quantification, genomic and transcriptomic workflows, multiplexed analysis, biobanking and next-generation sequencing. Researchers can access an end-to-end molecular biology pipeline, from sample preparation and quality control through sequencing and data generation.

Next-Generation Sequencing

TIME Core offers Oxford Nanopore sequencing technologies, including the MinION, GridION and PromethION platforms. These systems provide flexible, real-time long-read sequencing for a range of genomic and transcriptomic applications.
